Objectives:
The project is a unique initiative addressing the digital divide in Central Europe by the focus on developing digital skills among the aging workforce. Its e-learning platform will provide top-notch courses with academic rigor and practical applications, fostering personal and professional growth of the target group. Focus on local learning centres ensures the sustainability of outcomes. The project outcomes will have significant impact on the aging workforce in target countries and the EU.
What activities are we going to implement?
1- Needs Analysis
A detailed needs analysis to identify the specific needs of the aging workforce (individuals over 50 years old) in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and other EU countries regarding digital and soft skills development.
2- E-learning platform, eight courses in digital and innovative soft skills to address the persisting digital divide among the aging workforce and other learning tools such as guides and assessment tools.
The eight courses to be developed are:
- Principles of Cybersecurity
- Digital Technologies for Office Use
- Using Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace
- Cloud Computing
- Principles of Effective Communication
- Lean Management Principles for Business
- Adaptability and Teamwork for the Workplace
- Effective Presentation Methods
3- Pilot Trainings to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the developed e-learning platform and digital and soft skill development courses for the aging workforce.
4- Development of the Methodology for Building Local Learning Centers and Innovative Learning Spaces accessible and focused on the aging workforce, and to create a network of local stakeholders to support the sustainability of these centres.
