Within transnational project ERASMUS+: “ADVANCE CIRCULAR – Linking Tourism Industry with VET to embrace circularity”, partners from four countries have completed Tool No. 2 – Skills Taxonomy, this taxonomy being a structured framework of competencies, defined in the tourism sector/related fields, from a Circular Economy perspective.
The taxonomy includes five categories, each category, in turn, includes 5 described skills, accompanied by specific examples.
Category 1: PRIORITISE REGENERATIVE RESOURCEs
Category 2: STRETCH THE LIFETIME
Category 3: USING WASTE AS A RESOURCE
Category 4: DESIGN CIRCULAR
Category 5: INCORPORATE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY.
