INE – Inclusive Nature Experience: Discover our main results
The Erasmus+ Adult Education project INE explored ways to make meaningful nature experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of their abilities, personal circumstances, or life situation. Following the successful completion of the project, which ran from October 2024 to September 2026, we are pleased to present its four main results. Together, the project partners LebensGroß (Austria), Zavod RISA (Slovenia), A.R.T. Fusion (Romania), and Les Apprimeurs (France) have developed a series of inclusive educational resources that explore the connections between nature experiences, health and wellbeing, and informal learning.
1. INE Curriculum
The INE Curriculum supports practitioners working with people with learning difficulties and intellectual disabilities, as well as social workers and nature educators. Combining inclusive and environmental education approaches, it promotes health-enhancing activities in nature and uses natural environments as experiential learning spaces that foster active participation and physical, mental, and social well-being.
2. INE E-Book
The INE E-Book is an inclusive learning resource that improves access to the health and well-being benefits of nature, biodiversity conservation, and environmental sustainability. Designed for people with disabilities, learning difficulties, and fewer opportunities, it supports self-directed learning through sensory-based methods, interactive exercises, games, and practical activities. Structured in three parts for easy navigation, it is available as both a downloadable digital resource and a printable version with QR codes linking to additional content.
3. INE Guide
The INE Guide offers a concise introduction to health, self-care, sustainability, and inclusive nature education. Aimed at both target groups and wider stakeholders, it raises awareness of the project’s aims and results while providing practical tips for learning in and from nature. It also includes country-specific information, contacts, educational resources from all partner countries, and QR codes linking to further INE materials.
4. INE Inspiration Cards
The INE Inspiration Cards encourage people to connect with nature while highlighting its benefits for health, well-being, and sustainability. Developed for people with learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities, and fewer opportunities, they offer accessible information, inspiring illustrations, and practical outdoor activities. Their portable format makes them ideal companions for nature walks, promoting active engagement with nature, healthy lifestyles, and environmental responsibility.
