The common method of drug administration today is systemic; drugs are injected into the bloodstream, where they disperse throughout the entire body. This approach can be inefficient as drugs often reach areas where they are not needed. The ANGIE project proposes a more targeted solution. In the project, microcapsules are navigated magnetically within the vasculature to a specific target site.
