DOCUMENTA is a non-profit organization working in the field of “applied social research” whose main aim is the introduction of a model of sustainable local development in Intelligent Territories.
Since its foundation in 1996, DOCUMENTA has consolidated an experienced cross-disciplinary professional team, forged through a methodology of its own, which combines reflection and action around four different lines of work:
- Territorial analysis and strategic planning
- Integral services to unemployed, entrepreneurs and SMEs on training, employment and advising
- European programmes’ design and management
- Active participation in development cooperation projects
DOCUMENTA is actively involved in processes of adult learning and teaching methodologies and guidance for trainers the design and implementation of a complete itinerary on training/employment has allowed the organization to deploy an expertise which covers from analysis of training needs in territories, sectors and/or entities to the design and teaching of both in-class and distance learning for adults. These activities comprise from the introduction of innovative training methodologies to qualify assurance and evaluation of projects.
DOCUMENTA has 20 years of experience in the design and management of European projects framed within different initiatives such as Youthstart, Article 10 ERDF Innovation, EQUAL, Interreg, eLearning, Article 6, Lifelong Learning, Erasmus Entrepreneur, Culture, Erasmus+, etc… with over 60 European projects in its portfolio (either as partner or promoter) developed with a network of more than 115 partners from 27 different countries.
Currently DOCUMENTA collaborates with local, regional and national institutions developing studies about active labour market policies, skills upgrading in business, guidance, training and labour integration of unemployed people, design and management of tourism competitiveness plans, design and test of new professional profiles.
DOCUMENTA philosophy of public/private collaboration and networking is shown by the involvement and membership in many networks for empowerment of sustainable development, creation local employment pacts, social inclusion or active European citizenship. DOCUMENTA is also member of EAPN España – Cantabria (European Antipoverty Network) and develops an intensive voluntary work in empowering and integration of groups at risk of exclusion.
