Titan Partnership founded in 1986 has a long track record of supporting schools, within and across phases, using professional development (ITT and CPD) for teachers and organising challenging learner activities. Titan has provided training and support for Gifted and Talented leaders in schools thereby improving the provision for MAG&T;organised sports events (Aston Olympians) and performance events (Anit-Bullying workshops), residential experiences outward bound), university visits and other activities that have raised the aspirations of young people. We are recognised by Ofsted as a good provider and we work closely with NACE on MAG&T activities.
Titan has managed government initiated projects over the years funded through City Challenge, New Deal in the Community, Excellence in Cities, National College or Teacher Training Agency (Over £5m in total). We established a Free School (Sept 2014) and have managed a Computing Managed Funding project through the DfE. We have managed our Professional Learning Community and Community of Practice.
Our European projects, in which Titan acts as partner or manager, include mobilities for adults and young people, anti-bullying, anti-gang and integrating mobile learning into mainstream education through teachers training.
