The successful project series “4×4 mobility” is an Erasmus+ KA1 project series running since 2014: “4×4 mobility” (2014), “4×4 reloaded” (2016), “4×4 advanced” (2018) and “4×4 professional” (2020, review of proposal in progress).
The concrete main objective of the “4×4” projects is the planning and implementation of mobility stay for young people in initial vocational training (mainly in dual vocational training) for a period between 2 and 4 weeks from 4 central economic sectors (manufacturing technologies, trade, public administration and tourism) in companies and institutions in 4 partner countries (DE, IE, MT, UK). In order to achieve a comprehensive European discourse in the partner companies, experts are to be recruited within the framework of the project also get the opportunity for an international exchange. The quality assurance and recognition of the skills and competences acquired during the stay is centrally managed by instruments Europass and ECVET.
