DiMa

The DiMa project promotes inclusion, diversity, and tolerance by developing innovative strategies and fostering a welcoming environment. It also strengthens intercultural competence, civic engagement, and professional support to enhance social cohesion and advance diversity and inclusion.

The project consortium consists of 6 partners from 5 countries:

The project will focus on the following two main aspects:

  • better sensitise and train young, marginalised people in VET for inclusion and diversity
  • understand how VET professionals can be supported and trained to promote diversity and inclusion in their daily work with the target group

 

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

1. Inclusion and diversity in all fields of education:
The DiMa project aims at developing innovative approaches to promote inclusion, diversity and tolerance in VET institutions and communities involves creating new strategies and initiatives that foster a welcoming and accepting environment for all people.

2. Common values, civic engagement and participation:
The DiMa project aims at strengthening the intercultural competence and self-awareness of young, marginalised people in relation to their cultural diversity is essential for promoting understanding and respect between different groups within society. Promoting shared values, civic engagement and participation of young people and professionals in inclusive and diverse contexts is crucial for building a more cohesive and harmonious society where everyone feels valued and respected.

3. Contributing to innovation in VET:
The DiMa project aims at supporting VET professionals in promoting diversity and inclusion at transnational and European level requires that they are provided with the necessary tools, resources and training to address these issues effectively in their work.
