MASTERY is a European project focused on supporting the green and digital transition through flexible, high-quality learning opportunities. The project has developed and promoted EQF level 5–6 micro-credentials designed to help learners, workers, VET providers, companies and other stakeholders acquire practical skills linked to sustainability, circular economy and green innovation.
Under the motto “Greening the Future”, MASTERY aims to make upskilling and reskilling more accessible by offering short, recognised and competence-based learning pathways. These microcredentials respond to the growing need for new professional profiles able to support sustainable production, resource efficiency, circular business models and environmentally responsible practices across different sectors.
A key result of the project is the MASTERY Academy (https://mastery-microcredentials.academy), an online learning platform where users can access training modules and obtain micro-credentials. The courses combine theoretical knowledge with practical examples, supporting both individual learners and organisations interested in strengthening their green skills capacity.
The project also works closely with VET centres, companies, public authorities and sectoral stakeholders to ensure that the training offer is aligned with labour market needs. Through pilot activities, workshops and stakeholder engagement, MASTERY promotes the recognition, transferability and practical use of micro-credentials in different European contexts.
By connecting education, industry and sustainability, MASTERY contributes to a more skilled, adaptable and environmentally aware workforce, supporting Europe’s transition towards a greener and more resilient economy.
